"Only after disaster can we be resurrected."

Text

If someone surveyed a forest, like went through it and plotted out the trees by species so they had a pattern for each one…could they then use a mathematical analysis of how trees of each species tend to drop or scatter their seeds to trace all the trees back to the mommy tree of each species that started the forest?

Or would they find that, the tree they trace it to, when it was young, was part of a different forest and was the sapling of trees before it that no longer exist, so that forests actually migrate across a piece of land?

Hmmm…

It's a new year. I figured some updating is in order.

It's hard to say what you might find on this blog...it changes day by day...but generally it is related to writing, science, philosophy or movies/books/tv shows that I'm currently excited about. Or pretty much anything that I find interesting.

I'm an aspiring author. I write fantasy, science fiction, and horror, for middle-grade, young adult, and adult readers. (Okay, I haven't written a book in all of those genres yet, but I plan to). I'm currently writing a YA Fantasy trilogy, the first of which won first prize and 500 dollars in Authorstand.com's 2nd annual novel contest.

But in the meantime I am a part-time Librarian's assistant and a part-time instructor of physics and astronomy at Eastern Kentucky University. I am also ex-military. If you want to know anything else about me, just ask. Seriously, ask me anything, use my ask button.
